TokSorter ("we", "our", or "us") operates the TokSorter Chrome extension and toksorter.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our products.

Local extension features

In the TokSorter Chrome extension, sorting, filename previews, basic exports, and supported media downloads run locally in your browser. For these extension features, TokSorter does not collect personal browsing data or send the visible TikTok feed to TokSorter servers.

Website online downloader

When you use the downloader on toksorter.com, your browser sends the public TikTok video URL and a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token to our configured media-processing API. The API creates a download job and returns a temporary media link when the supported public video is ready. The page displays job status and link expiry information. Do not submit private links or URLs you do not have the right to process.

Optional extension online features

The extension only connects online if you sign in or start an optional cloud task (such as advanced transcription or cloud processing). When you use these features, we process only the data required to deliver the service you requested.

Website analytics

We may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on toksorter.com to understand aggregate traffic, page usage, and interaction patterns. These scripts load only when configured for the deployed site. Google and Microsoft may process device and usage information under their own terms. You can block analytics scripts through browser or network privacy controls.

Data we do not sell

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for credit decisions or unrelated advertising profiles.

Third-party services

TikTok.com is operated by ByteDance. TokSorter is an independent tool and is not affiliated with TikTok. The website may also contact the configured media-processing API, Cloudflare Turnstile, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity as described above. Your use of each service remains subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
